Phil offers a unique combination of skills and experience gained over a successful +30 years upstream career. His career consists two main elements; 

• Multinational Energy Company - Royal Dutch Shell (1988 - 2010): Phil trained as a Well Engineer but developed depth and breadth across the Upstream sector holding a range of UK / overseas positions of increasing seniority and responsibility including Head of Well Engineering. He led multi-disciplined, international teams to deliver business plans that enhance shareholder value

• Consultancy - Spinnaker Energy Ltd (2010 - 2020): Phil provides support to a range of top-flight clients on upstream performance management (HSE and business), performance improvement, due diligence, strategy, organisational and industry dynamics/trends. Critical to success is his collaborative engagement with stakeholders, providing insight, and generating sustainable impactful change

• Specific expertise: HSE, Well Engineering, Supply Chain, Non-Operated Ventures, Commercial and Asset Management
